Graphic Artist
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Graphic Artist is responsible for producing all graphic images and designs for the Academy ensuring all works align with the organizational culture and values.
This position is contract-based; the graphic artist would work on retainer, completing specific and ongoing projects with a guaranteed minimum at an agreed upon rate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing visual communication solutions for the Academy by conceptualizing design, illustration and layout for graphic projects in print and electronic media

Assisting Academy with the development of graphic materials

Proofing, editing and preparing artwork for print/publication

Corresponds with executive team (Executive Director and Development Director) to develop graphic design content for documents, social media, web page and event promotion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year graphic design experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstration of professional portfolio or past relevant work

Excellent time and project management skills

Availability to work onsite at Square Root Academy office at least once a week

Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team environment
